Creating stems: 3 practical ways to get your practice tracks

For good reason, we don’t host copyrighted songs — you bring your own, legally obtained material. Here’s how to get the separate tracks:

1. Separation services (easiest)

Services like Moises or LALAL.ai take your MP3/WAV and automatically split it into drums, bass, vocals, and “other” (guitar, keys, …). You then upload the finished tracks to us. Ideal if all you have is the audio file of a song.

2. Buying official multitracks / stem packs

For many songs, officially licensed separate tracks are available for purchase (multitracks, often used for karaoke or worship). Best quality, cleanly separated, legally clear.

3. Your own recordings & AI-generated songs

If you record yourself (or create songs with AI tools), you export the tracks directly as stems — no separation needed at all.

Once you have your tracks, continue in the practice player: mix in sync, play back slowly, loop tricky spots.

Try it yourself.
